Direct Fuels to Produce Biodiesel at North Texas Facility

Company is One of Only Two Producers of the Alternative Fuel in DFW

EULESS, Texas - Direct Fuels, the largest independent regional fuel distributor and specialty refiner in North Texas, has opened a biodiesel production facility at its refinery in Euless, Texas. This makes the company one of two producers of biodiesel in North Texas, yet the only one located at a fuel terminal so biodiesel can be blended directly into petroleum diesel, as per customer need.

Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs): Alternative to Traditional Lighting?

PALO ALTO, Calif. - Light-emitting diodes (LEDs), with their improved color range, lumen output, color stability and lifespan, offer enhanced performance over traditional lighting sources that don’t provide flexibility in selection, design and installation of lighting fixtures. The LED fixture is an array of hundreds of dies in a panel or strip, which allows them to take the desired size or shape according to different applications. The flexibility offered by LEDs, enable them to dominate several niche lighting markets ranging from indicator lights and traffic signals to exit signs and decorative/architectural lighting.

Macy’s, Inc. to Adopt Recycled Paper Bags, Biodegradable Packing Materials as Part of Sustainability Commitment

With assistance from the Arbor Day Foundation, BankAtlantic and Fiserv will plant up to 10,000 trees in forests throughout Florida.
